How can I procure the Data Hub?
Alchera Data Hub is on G-Cloud 13 here for public sector procurement.
Alternatively, Alchera works in the supply chain of many Tier 1 advisory and engineering firms. Reach out to find out more, and see if procurement via an existing framework is preferable.
Alchera can provide terms & licence agreements for private businesses.
Does the Data Hub integrate with my existing apps, tools and other software platforms?
Yes.
The Data Hub has been designed to operate alongside other software tools, from customer-facing apps to transport modelling tools or network management. The Data Hub can also co-exist within broader data lake architectures.
Do you monitor data quality in the Data Hub?
Yes.
Data making its way into the data hub will be monitored for quality and cleaned. We will alert you to any anomalous activity - such as a sensor going offline - so that you can hold your suppliers to account.
Is there a limit to data storage or number of users?
Alchera operates a fair use policy on data volume and user numbers. We want to unlock the use of data in decision making for your teams, consultants and 3rd parties, and so encourage new users onto the platform free of charge.
How long does it take to get started with the Data Hub?
From commissioning, we will have your first users gaining value from the platform within 2 weeks.
Can I manage how users access data?
Your admin users will have the ability to manage data access per user.
This means you can share selected sets of data to groups - for example sharing only your signals data to a 3rd party consultant to feed their analysis.
Can I integrate historical data? What about future data sources?
Yes.
At set up, we will audit your data landscape, and ingest the high-priority, high value historical data sets you need for your use cases.
